In other words, the FDA just handed Big Pharma an absolute monopoly over CBDs (hemp oil extract) by ridiculously claiming such natural products are “adulterated” with molecules (CBDs) that the FDA says might one day become a drug.

Splats article is misleading. CBDs have never been legal on the federal level. A simple google search shows this.

Question... so Canada has legalized it eh? Is that mean we can bring some from Washington to Canada? And vise versa? Especially if we have receipt to go along with the product? I’m curious because edible isn’t as easy to find or know what’s exactly in it.... or should I wait till Canada figures out their retail system???

The boarder is considered federal so state laws don’t apply. No decriminalized in Canada until October.
That said they really don’t seem to be looking for it at the crossing: I go back and forth 4 times a week.

They don’t look for it but I cannot risk it for my job... I don’t plan on bringing anything back so I don’t have to deal with US federal customs agents. Only Canadian customs... since it’s nation wide legalization, I’m hoping it’s not something I can get in trouble law wise. I don’t care throwing away.
I’m hoping they can establish the system of selling it at the store soon so I don’t have to worry about it come this winter!
