I'm baby sitting a bagseed (blue cookies) for my friend
Seems to be a couple weeks behind on making budlets. He wasn't as heavy on the LST as me. Stem is a big stick all the way to the end.
I also tried to tell about the black fabric bag getting (fire emoji)

Was out on a gravel ride and on the last 2-3 miles I ride past a big Ag field, 50-80 acres all covered in big green healthy looking "plants" and something smelled familiar.

    Hemp! It's whats for harvest.

I would have grabbed a picture but farmer Brown was busy baling it up. Looked like it wasn't not a full flower just yet.

@TBS: Plants recover? Hated to see your ladies in such distress!

I am sheepishly confessing that we haven't checked PH in years.

Happily the tap water pH here has been a remarkably consistent 7.0, and with our inputs (mills A+B nutes) constant, 7-8 drops pf GH pH down would reliably get us down to 6.3-6.5 when we were using a pH meter, so we have been just adding the pH down and so far we haven't had any issues.

^^^One is doing fine, one died. Will get 5-6 qt jars out of it, which will last me until next summer (I don’t consume much indica).

I’m now using a syringe to add pH down.

And yeah, people in Bend and those on private wells around here have water come out of the tap at about 6.0. It only seems to be our town’s deep wells (snowmelt from 50 years ago percolating through volcanic rock) that are so alkaline.

I could use a some advice on trimming. Plants are well into flower, seem to be doing great. I've lollipopped them a bit, but wonder if I should be doing any more thinning of fan leaves or flower Click image for larger version.

ID:	498416sites that don't see much light. I'm an amateur, kinda winging it here, didn't do much trimming or training during veg, so I think the plants got a little bushy, at least the Squirt. I read conflicting opinions on doing much trimming of fan leaf during flower. Hopefully the pics show the plants well enough. What do you think - thin them out some or leave them alone?

I also need some advice on what to do with these things from now until harvest. What's your favorite site for general step-by-step growing instructions?Click image for larger version.

Natebob, your plants look healthy and happy. I dont think you really need to do anything other than be on the lookout for pest and mold as the buds bulk.

    For a basic guide, I like www.cocoforcannabis.com

It is primarily for indoor grows using coco coir as a growing medium but has a ton of info that is useful to all growers.

As far a pruning goes, it depends on what you want out of it; if you are trying to maximize weight or plan to make concentrates, you could just let it go and bush out, but you are going to have a large amount of low quality (small 'popcorn' buds or airy buds) that will be a pain to trim and will look terrible. They will still contain trichomes and thc, but unless you are hard up, I find these buds not worth the effort to process and end up in the shake pile to be sifted for kif.

Since Im lazy and not particularly fussed about weight, and only want quality flower, my main goal with pruning is to make harvesting as easy and quick as possible. In practice, this generally means that my plants get topped twice in veg to break apical dominance and get a round plant with several colas, rather than a xmas tree shaped plant. Then I get rid of all the flowering sites lower than 7 nodes from the main stem. I also tend to prune away the short side branches off the colas as well. A lot of this is driven by the particular plant type and will vary greatly depending on natural shape of that plant.

As far as defoliation goes, each leaf you remove is solar energy lost, but may be worth that loss to manage light penetration and humidity. Since you are outdoors, light penetration is less of an issue as your light source is moving throughout the day. If you live in a humid area, defoliation may be necessary to promote airflow around the buds to minimize potential for mold.

    hope that helps

Nice looking plant. those bags are nice the tan is classier than black. You wouldn't think it would be.
My plants canopy is wide and thick so I strip everything out halfway up. This is sometimes where a mold problems will start in the dead or unhealthy leaves .

I just stripped off a bunch of fan leaves this morning to promote airflow and reduce chance of mold. Just starting to bud.

That's because you're old. The children are the ones at risk.

Won't anyone think of the children??

I read on some weed site that had this image that Christians against pot is a satire group, kind of like the Onion. No idea if it’s true, because Facebook sucks.
