Way to make some lemonade...
Two weeks 'til casa-de-Muffinzworth! Whoo!
Anything worth skiing at the resort yet? Wouldn't really think so. Kinda just hopin' for something fun on Paradise (fun, that is, for a NOLA gaper who hasn't skied since April). Horseshoe maybe...?
Hope to be seein' the likes of the most of you soon!"I said flotation is groovy"

I should be in CO the evening of Dec 26. I go back to school January 9. Aside from some time visiting/skiing with Mykrekrdz down your way (whenever in that span that may be--prolly toward the beginning) and some time in the Front Range with other cohorts, that interval is kind of a mystery.
Doesn't sound like it's beyond my ability to have a good time... Hopefully I'll be seein' ya. Paddles, too!"I said flotation is groovy"

Yeah some of the runs off of Silver Queen are like Bob Ross's land of happy little trees (and rocks). Hopefully something this week will shoot through and help out the base a little.

Finally back in CB. We experienced a LOT of sloughing yesterday in the Anthracites, once all the way to the ground. Today we didn't experience any sloughing or even observe any above treeline. But, the base wasn't as supportable as it has been, no doubt from the all of the recent faceting.
Goldenboy isn't lying about the Kebler junk show: sled tracks in the trees in the Anthracites, and someone actually bootpacked/sidestepped all the way up the skin track. I'm including this picture for you Frank

Twister bumps were a rockin good time again today. Stoked on an awesome weekend of shredding rocks and roots with the shred posse!

Saw a sled that looked a lot like Brett's old sled parked out on the Kebler road today, was that you?
Talked to a character at the Kebler trailhead today who claimed these tracks. He wanted to make sure that no one was taking credit for his handywork...
In other news, the Anthracites skied well today, much less sloughing than Thursday. I wasn't able to produce anything on three ski cuts on steep convex rolls. Rachel triggered one small loose slide that slid to the ground over a steep shallow rock.
