My heart jumped into my throat when I saw the subject. You will be missed Jamie. I feel for your family - I hope your kids grow up knowing what an impact their dad had on so many people.
I met and skied with Jamie on two occasions and he left quite an impression on me. What a wonderful person.

The little time I spent with him was a pleasure. Humble, honest, sincere. Seemed like a great guy.
Sad news.

Condolences to his wife, kids, family and friends.
He said he was going to ski safer for his family, he wasn’t killed doing outrageous stuff, that could have been any one of us. I guess it was time.
Play safe..live life.

What a brutal and crappy way to kick off the ski season; avy death of a prolific skier.

Really sad to hear this. I met him once on top of Sisters at Snowbasin while he was doing a photo shoot. He was stoked and was a super nice guy. RIP man.
All I know is that I don't know nothin'... and that's fine.

Wow this blows. I met him at a WME show once, the year of his record cliff drop.

So sad. I always admired him and appreciated his approach to life and skiing. Recently more than ever. Another great man down... FUCK.
