Not sure if this comment was unintentional humor or not: "Nickelback is the worst group ever. I don't want to be sitting around with my family and have to listen to even more annoying people."

How come everyone claims to despise Nickelback and yet they are one of the biggest rock bands around? Someone must like them.

The day after my 21st birthday I ended up drunk at a Nickelback show in the rain in a muddy amphitheater in the middle of New Jersey.
I'm still not clear on exactly how that happened.
I wouldn't exactly call myself a fan of the band or the genre.

Wouldn't want a bunch of Canadians tarnishing Detroit's otherwise sterling reputation.

Since when did people start lumping Pink Floyd in with the likes of Nickelback?
As far as the mystery of Nickelback's popularity - I figure it's kinda like Justin Bieber or New Kids on the Block or (back in the day) Poison or Def Lepard. Simplistic bubblegum music designed to appeal to the indiscriminate masses....Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain...

Is it me, or do the Nickelback and Creed singers sound like they're taking a shit while they 'sing'? Jesus you fucking whiners, why does it HURT so much to just fucking SING?
Oh yeah, because your music sucks. Yeah, I get it now; you're right, that IS painful.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Jane's Addiction is awesome. How they ended up on that list with the others is beyond me. I don't have any of them. Not one and I couldn't tell you a single song that those others play. MTT - no offense I just don't listen to the others.
Jane's does a cover of Sympathy for the Devil that puts the Stones to shame. Coming Down the Mountain is a great, great get 'er all pumped for any conditions ski song if there ever was one. Any of you punks that don't like Jane's, should go changer your diapers, it's obvious you have a rash.
