Montezuma Basin 10/30 mini vid TR
Was 4 days after storm and some interesting conditions with patches of windcrust but we had a good time and it was backcountry skiing in October after all.

Also if anyone is up there and finds a tire chain please PM me - we threw one off somewhere between river crossing and mace hut area.

I dig the vid but unless there's some artistic merit in the sound of the wind that I'm just missin, ditch the sound and put some music in there.

That crust at the top looked rough, but by the bottom it looked much more manageable.

1st time I ever hiked up there with Wilder. He cut the top right were you did and the whole basin slid down to blue ice.
Great I just hiked all the way from the hut and now I get to ski ice on a pair of Silvereta's.
