What are you listening to? (gym, skiing, etc...)

It's time to update the MP3 player and I need some ideas. And I just finished listening to everything in the Best Song ever thread.

I have pretty eclectic tastes.... I just need some new upbeat stuff to stay occupied on the elliptical trainer. Here's what's on there now:

Cake - I will survive, Stickshifts and Safety Belts
    Cypress Hill - various
    U2 - Elevation
    Garbage - Paranoid
    The Killers - Mr. Brightside
Delbert McClinton - Same Kind of Crazy
    Lonestar - With Me
    Liz Phair - various
    Spineshank - New Disease, Synthetic
    Eve - Irresistable Chic
    Saliva - Click Click Boom
    Ashanti - Only U
Jackpot - Throw Away Your Misery, Big House
    Slightly Stoopid - various
    Marilyn Manson - Personal Jesus
    Luscious Jackson - Naked Eye
    Holly McNarland - Elmo
    Nine Inch Nails - various

    Give me some ideas.

i love Social Distortion. their latest cd is titled " sex, love and rock and roll" plenty of catchy songs on all of Social D cds to get the blood pumping. also, Weezer has some great songs on their blue and their green cds. perfect for execise imo.. one more suggestion, a double cd by X titled " make the music go bang"
what's so funny about peace, love, and understanding?

Rock Superstar had been on mine for like 6 months and I just took it off recently, but that's a good one.

It annoys me that I can't download Linkin Park or Tool on Real One Rhapsody.

    Good stuff, thanks!

I like listening Chevelle and Tool in the gym. Speaking of gym music I actually heard Barbara Streisand in the locker room. I guess that's one way to get people out into the exercise are quicker.

Any show from wefunkradio.com There's some talking, but worth putting up with for the classic R&B and old school hip hop.

I finally went out and bought a few CDs I've had on my list for a while and I can highly recommend Out of the Shadow by Rogue Wave.

There are a couple free downloads available on the subpop site: http://www.subpop.com/scripts/main/b...age.php?id=432
    (under the "multimedia" section)

If you listen to the song "Every Moment" and don't like it you're probably not going to like the band--and I question your worth as a human being

    not normally my style but:
    Shpongle is good stuff.
    groovy tranceish with great beats.

    also new Allison Krause,

highlights of the recent U2 albums ( cuz I dont like the whole reocords but 2 or 3 songs are real good)

just got refreshed with a grip of live Widespread panic too that is really good.

anything by pennywise or less than jake is great for riding or working out also andrew wk's first cd titled i get wet has got some really upbeat songs. flogging molly is an awesome irish folk punk band they rock good stuff, goldfinger, incubus, from autumn to ashes really good hardcore, lords of acid, mest, outkast aquemini is my favorite of theirs but they are all good, the queers great pop punk band, the roots, static x, strung out,sum 41, anything by 311 espeaciallly the older stuff, zebrahead any of their albums are fucking sweet, these are all bands that i constantly listen to all real good stuff in my opinion take it for what you will

I typically DL whole albums rather than songs, and I have a CD player in the car that plays MP3s, so mix CDs are pretty much a thing of the past for me. Now I just load 7-8 albums on a disc and play it for a while.

Having said that, I've got a disc w/ a bunch of indy-rock on it that I keep going back to. As much as I've tried I can't seem to get sick of Franz Ferdinand. Also, I just burned the Life Aquatic soundtrack. Some weird stuff in there, but pretty good.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
