    Klar... its always been one of my dreams to ski below Fitzroy.
    I know you said SA Spring but was the fitzroy trip in Aug, Sept or Oct???

    we were there in october. nice for the long daylight hours but apparently there are less of the extremely windy days in winter. we had spring conditions with occasional top ups of fresh snow.

    Ahhh.. Danke Klar! Amazing images! I went to Ushuaia and El Chalten exactly 2 years abo, but forgot to take my skis, I'm happy someone actually skies those amazing terrains..

    ^^ equals AWESOME pix amongst MANY awesome pix !!

    Those first couple pix in the TR that shows the harbor with the mountains behind reminds me so much of this place that I used to work on Siberia's Kamchatka peninsula....the city of Petropavlosk-Kamchatsky.

    The two places are probably at similar relative latitudes...one just being one being N, the other S.
