Who hath more wrath; "God" or the Devil?
With Halloween fast approaching, this question begs an evaluation.
Who hath more wrath, the bible version of God or the Devil.
My answer, God. For two reasons. One, the Bible has some pretty fucked up moments of God's wrath. I mean, really, what has the Devil done lately?
Two, because we make fun of the Devil often, during Halloween, during Mardi Gras, and Mardi Gras type hilarity and fun happen throughout MANY cultures and at many times of year. When do we make fun of God? Never, I cannot even come up with a example. We might parody him, but it is a singular gaft and only because of God's perceived omnipotence. Why doesn't more people dress up as God or Jesus?
Yeah, yeah, god does not exist, and yeah, therefor, the Devil does not exist.Terje was right.

For what its worth, God seems more like the parent who's attention and accolades we both desire and fear. The devil is more like an older sibling who supplies us with porno mags, bootlegs for us and forces us to eat his boogers on occasion.
So who you gonna bitch about when you pretend no one is listening. And who you gonna blame when you get caught?
So, looking back in that context, the devil's wrath was tolerable but hardley deserved, but god's was just the opposite. Scale is just a point of view.

While Quick and Hugh's responses are progressive and thought-provoking in a seventh-grade philosophy kind of way, I can't recall an instance in which the Devil actually "exercised" wrath upon man. Biblically, that is. Famine, plague, pestilence... all that shit was God's work, I believe. Looking back, the bible doesn't actually grant the devil much credit when it comes to the applicable wrath department.
