Missing kids - Naturita, CO
Reposted from 14ers.com, just hoping/helping to spread the word.
"friend posted this on another forum and is looking for any help or information:
Help!!!
My 12 yo son Chris and his 14 yo friend Danny are missing... I need your prayers and best wishes right now. I went climbing on Psycho Tower in Western San Miguel County Sunday. The boys came along to play in the river while we climbed. When we came down, the truck and both boys were gone. The Sheriffs are looking for all three right now... '07 white Ford, crew cab, Licence #801 RBH. It's cold out there and I'm worried sick. Please send your most positive vibes ♥ Fixed wing search today... Helicopter tomorrow. They have no food, no water and no warm clothing. I am becoming desperate. 2nd night out with or without the truck... we don't yet know. Thank you all

Heres hoping its some dumbass teenagers going for a joyride and being dumbass teenagers as we all were, that seems somewhat likely and is probably the best possible outcome .

I know that the parents initially thought the kids stole the truck and were driving down to az. Lets hope they turn up safe soon.

Hope all turns out well. As a father, I can only imagine the torment involved at having lost kids.

I pray it was a 14 year old's idea of a joy ride and they got lost or something normal.

Thats quite a drive for a 14 or 12 year old.
Now Moms and Dads just have to deal with the whole stealing the truck and leaving dad stranded in the frikin wilderness

I bet there will be some pretty serious ass beating going on in the household. Holy hell, I would not be alive after that if that were my dad. I'd have wished I could have stayed gone.

Man... yikes all around. Glad kids turned up and were okay. Yiesh.
Also, what a fucking waste of $$ and resources with the 3 day search efforts. Parents should make kiddos get jobs doing whatever and pay back everyone involved for their time and $ spent looking for them.
