The corn is ready for ready for harvest. Country club conditions out here. But clouds and potential thunderstorms could reverse the stoke quickly.

Corn is ripe, my friends. Everywhere skiing top notch. If you’re thinking about it come on down.

I’m guessing grskier is talking about the second one on the list. Patrick Larkin was a pillar of that community. He will be missed.

Wait until they have a decent snowpack. Try to stay hydrated. Hike Katchina peak.

    No one does that anymore.

    It’s too crowded.

Might be better off taking some skis you don’t care about too much.
Great hill, but tends to be boney.

Don't drink the green chili beer. Some will tell you it's good...they're wrong.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Dunno. Yelp says it's closed. That makes me sad. I love that place...except for the green chili beer...that shit sucked!!!

Yeah, I'm not drinking green chilli beer no matter where I am. And I don;t hike when there's a lift available (though I have been known to skin).

Thanks for info on the snow. Taos seems very dependent on the southern storm track, and that track is not as reliable as the northern track that would hit the SLC areas and central/northern CO.

Any decent and not outrageously priced hotel options?

There are a couple of cheap places in town too, with a lot more to do at night.

If you are referring to the "Wall" in Colorado, I have it from a good source that it is positioned to keep Texas skiers out of Colorado
