It's a tough spot to raise a family and the job market isn't great. Of course with remote work today it can work for some. The other side is just having it as a second home it's difficult to get to unless you're less than a few hours away by car.

I was thinking a couple acres of wasteland, an old trailer, walk around half out of my mind on acid and meth in my underwear. You know, life goals and such.

Up near the ski valley? Down near town?

La Nina isn't nice to Taos historically. Was in the last few years (since my 7 year old was born) that was as thin as I've seen it. That said, it also does well if they even get two good cycles to fill in some lines. Things will stay chalky for a while with the dry air.

Are you seeing any of this one right now? It's been dumping on the Peaks all day today here.

It’d be a good idea to put some pictures in the Ullr thread. Though this storm approaching has some promise.

My pass is blacked out right now, but this storm on the way looks good. Still a little early, but give it a few days.

Edit: IOW, most of the good stuff isn’t open yet, and the place is crawling with Texans on holiday.

It's about to get really good here by Monday. I'll be skiing all midweek M-F. I bet the backside will be worth a little walk poo as well, there wan't much before this cycle so I'm feeling really good about stability. Come check out Arizona.

Great skiing today at Taos. The wet warm storm was optimal density for base building and pleasurable skiing. Gracias a dios for Taos’s high elevation

I'll be on the hill almost daily for a couple few weeks starting Sunday. Hollar to spin some laps in the sun!

Well turned out to be 3-4" each day for a few days. But the refresh is nice. Looking forward to being here later in the season when it's more filled in. Shit is stumpy and boney still..
