Aside from the usual electro-drone-ambient stuff I always listen to, I've been playing tons of YOB and Windhand.

The new Heavy Blanket/Earthless live cd is fucking killer. J Mascis sits in for the whole hour-long jam. Amazing.

Earthless are beyond rad. Isaiah Mitchel is Jimi Hendrix reincarnated.

Roadburn is a lot like Hendrix coming on at Woodstock after half the crowd left and melting the stage. I will agree that Earthless is pretty much Isaiah Mitchell and his backing band, but the drummer is much better live than in the studio.

This is basically The Sound Track of a Trim Carpenter

standard protocol = show up about 7am, turn the stoner rock up to 11 don't touch the radio until we leave. all the other trades, the general and the homo know it is non-negotiable. if the rock box is off, we don't work.

man, that sucks for brant. I need to listen to more of that stuff. My good buddy got me into this stuff back when we were snowboarding together every weekend, brings back great memories. I got him into hard boot riding and longboard skating.
Bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste goood.

I'm a kyuss diehard fan. Brant is more chilled but the riffs are solid. Just pulled the trigger on the wed nite show here. Gonna buy some merch and hopefully buy him a beer for his troubles.

Gonna try to listen to a bunch. That was Fu MAnchu before my first show, I didn't know much but my buddy insisted that I go. I was at a Red Sox game and had to leave early to get across town to see it, they went on at like 9:15. Great friggin show. I was hooked.

Killer tune dude. We were jamming that one on the way back from skiing last weekend. Love the breakdown at 2:29. Turn it up to 11. My buddy asked if it was about penis size. I was like does it matter?
