I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

"at last, after 2,000 years of work, the eludium pu36 explosive space modulator. At long last, my dream come true. The earth?
Oh, the earth will be gone is just a few seconds.
Oh, I'm going to blow it up, it obstructs my view of Venus.

They were talking on the news tonight about the Rockwell Collins cameras on board. Apparently the navigational cameras near the tires and some mast cams. MSSS has must have the pretty picture cams. Damn that thing is loaded with cameras!

Put that thing in 4 low and lets go already.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

^^^Yeah we should hire that German guy :-) So cool to see people having fun with our (everyones) data.
Last week I was very stoked because we got the management at JPL to let us use the mardi (the camera that made the video of edl) after rover drives. It almost didn't happen and I almost went ballistic...but everything turned out and the photos look really good considering the camera is not designed to work on the surface.
This one has shadow from the rover and arm:
almost full sun:

And another mastcam that reminds me of the SW:
The mosaics are too big for my photobucket, so need to wait for the press release versions.

^^^ No non US people on the MMM team, maybe on the project.
Mastcam 34 of the Mahli:
The arm seems to be working well. I uploaded a sequence to image the mastcams with the mahli last night, the mahli cover is still closed, so might be a little hazy.
