    I might use the left hand shifter if you're willing to separate. Is it the newer Deore which ostensibly looks a little beefier?

    its the old style Deore 9 speed shifter. I'll def sell you the left hand shifter. Just PM me so I can keep everyone straight.

    Seriously, show me a pic, because I got a new right hand one, and it's bigger than my left. Still 9sp, just looks different. And I don't wanna be really anal about matching, but the bigger shift levers are nicer. I don't know when the change occurred, but we're only talking about a two or three years here. My older left hand one is developing some serious play, and probably not long for this world, the right already disintegrated, hence the replacement. Can you post a pic or link to one for sale that looks the same?
