    Beautiful!
Very easy on the eyes (and ears). How big are those lines btw? I had a quick look at google maps, but couldn't quite make sense of things in the few minutes I had. Was curious to see what sort of vert and steepness we're talking about.
Sorry to get all anal here. Glorious stuff, you nailed it.

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for the compliments. Stoked you guys enjoyed the vid. Las Leñas is pretty incredible when everything comes together. That was the first time it happened for me. I had a blast and I think we got really lucky as it appears that was the best week of the season.

Just got some big snow in Bariloche and there is more on the way. I’ll put our vids in the South America thread to keep the stoke rollin’ into the NA winter.

Most of these lines appear to be on the peaks in the 'near backcountry' behind the main ski area. This consists of four peaks connected by high ridges: Torrecillas, Cerro Negro, Entre Rios and Cerro Martin. The lines on this complex of ridges and peaks range in vert from 500m-700m. Typically these lines start with a short bit of close to 50 degrees, that then mellows into the mid to low 40's. Often there is a short section in the middle of the line where it will steepen back up to the high 40's before mellowing out again. The first line in the video, if I'm not mistaken, is Xenia on Entre Rios which has this sort of profile.

There are a couple of lines that are more consistently steep though. Of note are the lines on Entre Rios, Chamonix and Leucemia, both of which start with longer bits in the 50's and the east face of Cerro Negro, which is in the low 50's for most of the the run. I believe that some of the footage where the skier is doing short swing turns is on Cerro Negro.

Pictures and descriptions of this area can be found the TR:

It is a truely amazing area.

My God that is sick Miles!!! You guys really got all-time conditions on Entre Rios! Don't know how I missed this video til just now, but wow. Just wow. I recognize that last line, La Banana off Cerro Martin... Stoked to see that from a different angle, it looks pretty impressive! And needless to say, you guys skied it a bit faster than we did, especially the final pinch. Keep up the good work!

I must say, I was rather disappointed, I thought this was going to be about long lift lines.

    BTW, nice skiing.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...
