4-6 shots every night?!
Well, of course that will add up and kill you. How long it will take is the question.
I'm going to guess that every 2-3 days you 'splurge' and have an extra glass (or two) and really end up getting pretty drunk a few times a week.....

Nope... Really can't stand getting drunk. 2-3 glasses, which is at least 4-6 "shots" is my thing. Can't stand hangovers. Hate them almost as much as I hate sobriety.
I've always been into getting high. Whiskey is easier on the body than cocaine and oxy. Maybe not by a lot, but a little anyway.
As far as it killing me, if any of you teetotalers manage to avoid that eventuality, be sure to let me know.

this thread is not about sobriety, per se.
it's about taking some time off, and seeing how it feels.
i was having three drinks every night, for a while, that and getting drunk three weekends in a row, was enough.
i'm done for a while is all.
i feel and look great, skin and eyes are clean and crisp.
i'm sleeping better, speaking of, just ripped a bong hit of some tasty kush, nighty-nite.crab in my shoe mouth

Thinking of quitting drinking for a while
I don't intend to get drunk I just love well crafted brew and can drink well made beer endlessly... at times resulting in intoxication. Having a child helps ease the gas pedal given her habitual 6:30 wake up call. Otherwise drinking beer endlessly is incredibly fun.
"4-6" shots a day strikes me as a tad much (not that I judge). I could easily drink ~ 4 beers daily... Kinda sorta do I guess (2-4+). Probably should take some time off now and then but work my ass off in office and home and enjoy it so hard to go cold turkey.Uno mas

I probably drink way to much. Right now I don't give a fuck. 120 mile tomorrow on two wheels. Fuck it.
Edit: sober mind you.

I have come to the conclusion that I do not drink nearly enough. What would I have to do to become a drunk? How much work? I'm lazy.

I have to drink for research and development. Inventing nu libations and ways to drink them is harder than you think.

you pass it off as back pain, amirite?
