Dynafit trail runners and homeopathic BS
Saw this on TetonAT this morning, thanks Steve for posting about these: http://www.tetonat.com/2011/08/07/ne...fit-and-salewa
Is this an elaborate troll on the part of Dynafit? I wonder how much from each pair of shoes goes to license the use of a magnet in the sole."High risers are for people with fused ankles, jongs and dudes who are too fat to see their dick or touch their toes.
Prove me wrong."

Seriously, do these people not have any idea how much more powerful the magnetic forces your body is subjected to during an MRI are?

Hopefully they start putting this dumb shit in boots, too so we can see weight breakdowns like this:
-TLT 7,600 Platinum stock: 2 pounds per boot
-TLT 7,600 Platinum w/Intuition Superawesomewraps and with all paint and logos sandblasted off: 1.7 pounds per boot
-TLT 7,600 Platinum with all the above and magnets removed: 1.1 pounds per boot

http://en.auraactivator.com/files/SCIENTIFIC-REPORT.pdf would seem to indicate that it's a small Mid- and Long-wave IR transmitter, rather than a magnet.
But I still doubt that it does what they claim it does.We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

C'mon guys. Maybe you shouldn't be so cynical. I mean, with writing like this they must be legit.
"Considering a constant biologic nutrition which guarantees the functioning of the we can assume that
the IR analysis emitted by a body can guarantee us a feed-back on its generative processes, or it
can interact on themselves through additional sources of IR.

Just read Tetonat and today's article about the new BD carabiners with magnets in them. This was immediately above his post of yesterday that had Dynafit's magnetic shoes.
Magnets= the new black.

Fvck all of that. Magnets properly placed on your arm polarizes your blood and makes food stores last like 7 times longer. Seriously, I've seen a skier or two last two maybe even three days without eating.

Why wouldn't a gram counting, function first company, with a rich engineering history start using as seen on TV technology in their products.
Do you think now that they've served the purpose of making all of us internet gear-heads aware of dynafit's new runner line, they'll be scrapped from the design before hitting shelves next year?

Next thing you know Dynafit will be making tele gear for hippies. It is well know magnets work best in tel gear.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Holy shit... I haven't been that amused by pseudo-scientific babble since discovering Tom Bearden's website: http://www.cheniere.org/. They do claim that it's IR getting emitted, but I wouldn't bet on it actually doing it. If it did anything meaningful, their "report" would include some data, rather than just pictures they found on the internets. Somehow my internal dialogue while skimming that "report" was all in a thick Italian accent which just made it more amusing.
Prior to this, I would have tried out Dynafit shoes too, although I really really doubt I'll be dropping $150 on trail runners any time soon, so probably no big loss for them.
