So, I'm sitting there drinking an 8 dollar IPA, complaining about my bicycle situation. The rear wheel on my custom steel Ultegra Strong just lost a rim, and Mavic isn't even shipping anything until the first of the month, so I'm down to my other bike, the custom steel Ultegra Serotta, which I don't like as much, but will be forced to ride for 2-3 weeks until the Strong is good to go.

I received a resume for a new accountant today. He was a movie / film accountant. Lots of experience in porn. I can’t think of any good questions to ask him though. There will be additional people in the room. Ideally looking to make them crack up laughing at in appropriate times. Thanks.

10-15-2018, 04:28 PM #1481I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Classy as ever. This guy probably expects a porn stigma. Therefore, stay away from porn. Cracking up the room at his expense would not be good.

Spent two weeks in Haines. Skied half a day. Rained on for almost two weeks straight. When the sun finally came, it was shit snow and insane avalanche danger. A gazillion hobs rolled over with a 50% loss.

We managed a day and a half in Cordova. Low angle skiing, and I still managed to get mostly buried. If I ever heli again it will likely be Canadian Rockies--if I'm going to ski low angle it might as well be powder.

Wow, that's brutal. I appreciate the days I managed to get even more whenever I see a report like this. Ugh

04-04-2019, 01:57 PM #1494Olivia Jade Giannulli feels “hurt, devastated and resentful” that her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, were allegedly involved in a nationwide college admissions scam, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.
“[Olivia] was passionate about her career, and now everything she built has imploded before her eyes,” the insider reveals in the new issue of Us. “She feels they ruined everything.”
A second source previously told Us that Olivia, 19, and sister Bella, 20, “were so close” to their mom prior to the scandal, but the trio’s relationship is now strained.
The insider revealed, “[Olivia] is not talking to her parents right now. [She] feels she is the victim.” The beauty guru lost brand deals with TRESemmé and Sephora as a result of her parents’ alleged actions.
The source continued, “Olivia blames her mom and dad for this scandal and for the downfall of her career.”

I once interviewed a kid that grew up working at the family funeral home. It was at a retail luggage and gifts chain store assistant manager position. He did embalming among other things. Should have hired him. A couple months later some lady came in the store with her mother's ashes looking for a cheap assed jewelry box to keep them in.. too cheap to purchase a proper urn LOL..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

When I was a chief surgery resident I did some interviewing for internships. Guy who used to be a whitewater guide--recommended. Guy who ran the family farm after his father died--recommended. Guy who published a bunch of papers and had straight A's in med school--not recommended. Unfortunately my recommendations were ignored. One of the attendings blackballed a couple of people because of weak handshakes. (For the record, when you're taking care of a lot of old, fragile people a strong handshake is not a good thing.)

^^^^^
I always looked for the people who had real life experience and they always panned out. 4th year Med students know a lot about being students and jack shut about being a successful doc.

Ha; got to shit on an undergraduate seeking affirmation from an ex-Peace Corps volunteer (me), who was positive he could be an international aquaculture consultant after obtaining his BS in basket weaving. High point of my grad career.
