My old microwave died and I had to buy a new one. For some reason when I heat a cup of water for tea in the new one it heats up the cup a lot more (not just the water) and it's so hot I have to grab it by slipping my bathrobe cuff down over my hand. Every morning.

This bullshit weather pattern has coated my solar panels in ice, and keeps forcing me to repeatedly plow drifts of week old snow in order to keep my road open. The wind has also blown out the pilot on my backup propane furnace twice, and I'm trying to take a shit right now, but my toilet is rocking back and forth, which is a little distracting. And I can only find 2 Porsche 911's that I want to buy and they're both 1500+ miles away in humid, cold places where they use a lot of road salt.

Good thing you can still post while "working."

Still better than the "Prairie Doggers," tho - adjusting vertically sucks since you're more likely to lock the tilt than the pan.

My second job pays too well to give up but not well enough to quit the day job.

My ski jacket has a hole in the seam and it's going to be a blizzard this weekend.

So, I have to sew... but I am trying to cut down on drinking.

Tesla Model X comes with gull (falcon style) doors which means no roof rack which kills its utility for skiing and surfing.

A foot of snow and 40 below wind chill has pretty much shut down everything around here. Was out cruising around and found a grocery that was open. Sweet! I'm going to make a huge pot of stew! Meat department closed..... Only beef left in the refrigerated case where some sketchy looking steaks.....

Had to get pork chops instead, which were awesome. But I really wanted to make stew.

Our new game room at work is getting a bigger TV and couch than my office.

And it only has wii and xbox, no playstation.

So, I've been having this pain in my left elbow now for two weeks, and couldn't figure out what the fuck caused it. No impacts, no sudden movements, no strains at the gym. But, it won't go away and even got a little worse. I finally figured it out. It came from holding my IPad a certain way for extended periods.

The wife and I want to buy a house, but my relatively well paying, incredibly secure and very fun job is 60-90 minutes from those in our large and supportive network of friends and family and her tenured position is only slightly closer, so we don't know where to live. I mean we could live almost dead center in between, enjoy lower taxes and be within a few minutes of skiing/hiking/biking, but there hardly ever any homes in that area that meet our criteria and building just sounds like such a hassle.

I just went to see a condo for sale, and the kitchen was advertised as totally renovated, which it was, but the counters were faux granite formica. I mean, really. Fake granite? How tacky.
