On the aptly named Toy Trail

My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

Oh, man, I wish. I ain't got those kind of skillz.

"One trail in the Twin Cities area called Hillside has one of the most awesome pieces of trail art that I have ever heard of.

A link to Sue's blog which has the entire story:

    http://welcometosuelandia.blogspot.c...inas-home.html

Summary: Someone who lived near a local trail (and turned into a MTB'er herself) went through the woods and hauled out a bunch of scrap metal garbage that was scattered around. She then went to work and created a totally awesome trail sculpture (named Tina)."

I loved rolling up on these trees in Salida. Unfortunately, some kook cut them down.

I've got some folk art (cue banjo music):

and something that may not be considered art but is certainly thought-provoking:

Can someone explain to me what exactly "organized hunting" is? I would hope that all hunting is at least somewhat organized. Can you imagine disorganized people with guns running amok in the woods?
"... Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to your body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much: I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this: you will outlive the bastards." – Edward Abbey

Cool Threat, we had a mail box and several randomly placed goodies but got removed when some people started whining.

Not sure it's really art, but kind of funny. At a junction called "Teddy Bear Junction"
