Same deal as last year, just different group name...

I'm assuming we'll be able to pick teams soon.

Is it "fire and forget" or do you have to dink around with picking riders for each stage?

    www.velogames.com

works pretty well as a "fire and forget" game, although it's generally impossible to do well unless you
    pick the eventual winner.

I'll join both leagues to see how they work and make the Tour a bit more interesting. Either way....looks like fun.

Team Clenbuterol is now registered and staffed in both leagues.

    My selection theories and predictions:
    - the Schleck Bros will team up to stomp on Contadope in the Alps, allowing Andy to take the GC in Paris
    - Cav will win a large number of sprints
    - Hushovd will be stronger than either Pettachi or Ferrar
    - There's gonna be a lotta stage hunting in the Pryenees

Looks like there isn't a way to get into two leagues on the versus one if you're already in one (we're doing one for work) - I'd love to do this one too, but really don't want to dink around with two teams...

mmm Beer team has a meeting with the Dr. Feelgood this afternoon and will be climbing up the standings after that.

Dumb ass android phone turned wheely good widers into weekly good widers.

Originally had vino and Gilbert on my team, but then replaced them which makes me dumber than my phone.

totally revamped my team before the deadline last night, primarily based on the uphill finish yesterday. So out goes Gesink, Kiryienka, and Arroyo. In comes Klodey,VDB, and the little prince. We'll see if it was a smart move. Already blew having a 1,2,3 finish today dropping Cav. But really he's running out of totally flat finishes, going to be the puncheurs and classic riders taking the non-mountain stages.

My dark horse, Uran, already showed himself...was hoping he'd try and help Wiggo on the last stage instead of going for it. A real bargain at $10, especially if Wiggo has his typical problems as a diesel and can't match the torrent stop and go's of El Pistolero.

I lost Jurgen Van De Walle on VeloGames.com.

I changed my line-up at well, but now notice I have two guys on the bench that aren't in the Tour. Glad we are not doing this for money.

First stage this year with much carnage. Too bad about Janez Brajkovic - broken clavicle and concussion. Boonen hanging in there to finish within the cutoff after his fall was painful to watch.

For a rider of Contadope's caliber, he sure lacks situational awareness when riding in the pack...

I also modified my lineup before they locked out - Chavenel and Martinez dumped for Kreuziger and Van Garderen - will see how that works out

Didn't get to watch the stage but Uran sat up to wait for Wiggo? Lame. There goes any slight chance he had to compete for a GC spot. Guess he can go for the stage wins now tho.

Nice garbage effort out of my sprinters today in the versus league. Still managed to win the stage. Tomorrow the fun should begin!
