    Father/Son Shred Camp 2011

Headed out last weekend for one of my favorite trips of the season, the annual Father/Son Snowmo Camping trip. We had a great time and I was reminded yet again how great my son is.

    Fatherhood rules!

At the snow line, the chariots await

    The knife-edge bridge crossing

Over the river and through the woods

    Shred Camp

    Magic Hour

    Skyler enjoying the view

    Starry sky

    Camp at night

The next morning Sky's warm up run. Last weeks new snow was still going through the transition cycle so it was slow and sticky.

Sky makes the most of it

One corner of the zone. Normally we're up on the peaks with our splits but with the slow snow conditions we opted to explore the lower stuff and find some jibs with the steeds.

Sky's spring steeze...Hawaiian shirt, no gloves, and mad skate surf style

He grabs Roastbeef and shows his trampoline training works....now only if he would pull his pants up

    Killin it with the Indy!

    Let's go look over here

    There you go kid

If I only pass along one thing to my son it's this textbook Indy nosebone. So perfect and probably my favorite shred pic of him to date.

    Dad circa 1995

    On to the next one

    He calls it a f/s 180 nosegrab, I call it a f/s 180 lien air

    Sky in the sky

    Dad's turn

Cheetah Factory Racing racks make quick work of transporting snowboards...and firewood too!

Powderjunkie's recipe from a few weeks back, so good we had to repeat

    Magic hour take 2

Teenagers are always tired in the morning....and lazy....get over here and help me break camp!

    Team Father/Son

All good things come to an end, time to head home

Still a fat base in the zone but this bridge is gonna start to get interesting

Another great trip with my favorite partner. I love you kid.

This annual TR is becoming one of my favorite things about this place. And shit yeah, a roastbeef grab documented in 2011. Maybe there is still hope for snowboarding afterall. Good on ya for teaching your boy the virtues of a stylish straight air.

Not in California. It's outlawed in Utah.
