If you're serious and will cover shipping I'll look into the legalities of it (pretty sure it's legal to ship across the border but I'd need to see what's involved with customs ppwk).. LMK.

This was so true when I lived in CO

Mine is Modelo in the white can.
Usually have various local IPAs & sours, but after a few of those, Modelo Especial.

On a hot day I may even skip the others til later

Welcome back to the macro brew, brother. It makes a lovely chelada as well on a hot day.

Mine is currently Sierra Nevada Torpedo extra IPA. This winter it was founders dirty bastard. Dogfish Indian brown is working it's way in there as well.

    What's yours?
It’s been Founders Centennial lately, but started stocking Torpedo again recently and damn that is still tasty.

Can’t find Indian Brown around here anymore. Damn shame.

I no longer work in the brewing industry and have returned to Coors Banquet, PBR, Utica Club, and Tecate. I still drink some IPAs sometimes but honestly, I really am starting to just like the lighter stuff more. Even when i go to a brewery i just get a pilsner.

My current go-to since certain CO beers are unobtanium here.
I still like a beer with substance, but avoid the syrupy stuff and Uber-hopps. Amazing how much IPA is out there when you’re looking for a non-IPA.

That’s fair. All I really want in a beer is something hoppy with a bit of body, and I’m equally frustrated when an establishment has no IPAs at all. Seems like having a line-up to satisfy both ends of the spectrum and maybe a stop in the middle shouldn’t be that hard.
    focus.

Lately this. Easy to find around here, relatively cheap, tastes fine if it’s a few months old.

This stuff is pretty good. A little less hoppy than the Sierra green can.

For me probably Wanderlust IPA from Breakside. My Costco almost always has it in four packs for a decent price and it always hits the spot for me.

I don't drink much, but when I do, it's a traditional Czech Lager.

From the nation that drinks more per capita than any other.

Sometimes a little easier to find is the German Hofbrau brand. Their original Lager and Hefeweizen are top notch.

Pacifico and Heineken. Uninteresting? Sure, but I don’t drink a lot of beer and when I do I want it cold and refreshing and not all that filling.

Now, if I could only get my hands on some Dortmunder Gold…
I still call it The Jake.

I’ve only seen one store ever in the states that carried that, and it’s a a run down convenience store on the Oregon coast run by a old Czech guy. It’s the actual budweiser from Czech that anheuser busch lawyers managed to steal the name. Most excellent beer. The pFreim pilsner out of hood river is the closest beer I’ve found to tasting similar. 100 times better pouring into a glass or on tap.

Totally agree. Pilsners need to be poured into a glass to develop that beautiful head.

And to add about the Czechvar, I was introduced to it by a past client of mine, Bobby Holik.
He was in the NHL and played Center for the Whalers, Devils and Rangers.

He has a home in Jackson and his wife is quite the equestrian. The horse barn is a gotdamn mansion itself.

He tipped us out one Friday with Czechvar for all.

    FKNA.

No shit, that's a cool story.

Pretty sure I have a few signed pieces of memorabilia from Holik during his time on the Devils.
