I hate to tell you, but there really isn't one. How big a package are we talking?
This is the worst pain EVER!

My sister in law lives in SDY, and we always just us the post office. It will be expensive, but things have always gotten there. Sometimes, slowly. If you get out for less than $50, consider yourself lucky.
Also, you'll have to fill out a customs declaration with the package. Always remove all price tags from stuff and lowball their worth (don't go crazy tho, or it could hold the package in customs). This will save you buddy $$ on the backside....This is the worst pain EVER!

For normal packages USPS has been cheapest. I don't know about large or very heavy packages, but UPS and Fedex have been very expensive when I quoted out my packages.
Make sure you declare everything as gifts to avoid extra fees in Oz.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Carry on. Won't cost that much more and you get a trip outta the deal too.

if the items are small and heavy, check out the USPS medium flat rate box.
