I had sex in a canoe once.
    I wasn't wearing a helmet or PFD.

and it was much more majestic than this shit.

Lady In Red is a solid musical accompaniment choice, but I think I'd go with George Micheal's "Careless Whisper". That or the complete Top Gun soundtrack.

That looks like an ex-stream sport. They got out of the stream and into the pond.

wow, the internet sure is crazy. I googled myself and ended up here.

I'm so delighted people are enjoying my paddling. I practice almost nonstop and freestyle paddling is so poorly known...I never knew there was a paddlers webpage like this one. Most of my freestyle canoe friends and I just stay in touch the old fashioned way...barbecuing at the events!

Oh to answer your original question: I don't wear the helmet and life jacket anymore because it's been many years since I had any sort of incident with the boat. I don't try any crazy risky maneuvers like the younger members of our sport. I like to rely on good music and style.

My daughter keeps telling me to spice it up with some of the new rap music and some more jazzy moves, but that's not the way this old man swings.

thanks for watching my video. maybe I can get the guy who put it on the internet to get my name spelled right.

none of us could figure out what nekkid means...my grandson thinks it's nintendo entertainment kid? Anyway this is my daughter Natalie, she's quite a paddler too.

that's her on the top right years ago before her prom night.

well I tried to post some pictures of my daughter but it looks like it didn't work.

I don't know what a "nek kid" is but she's 27 years old, not much of a kid anymore! I guess we're all getting older.

oh and to the gentleman who mentioned me thinking skiing is stupid: I love to ski across our lake when it freezes for the winter. Nothing stupid about that! And the fellow who noticed my tie was a clip-on, good spot! I can't believe people pay so much attention to those things but I suppose it takes all kinds.

I'm not sure when the last time I wore a PFD in a canoe, I did a lot of spinning on my side though while frantically trying to right my boat though...
