so now it's just landslides that keep you awake at night?

Where did you move to anyways? Just curious. Don't blow your cover if you're in the witness protection program though.

Most of the TVA dams here in East Tennessee are discharging at capacity. When this shit-show gets to the Mississippi, this will not be good. The smaller lakes around here have jumped 7-8 feet in 72 hours.

The Great Lakes region is in for a long spring. Many areas were experiencing record high water levels going into the winter and with amount of precipitation in these area with the frozen ground is going to lead heavy flooding.

I have been working with communities since last fall trying to figure out how to deal with current flooding conditions let alone what's coming this spring. The long term forecast for the Great Lakes water levels is not good for people living in area. The high water levels are also leading to flooding in tributary streams and even groundwater levels.

Nope, it's pretty flat up on the top here. Union Hill Road and Novelty Hill Road slough occasionally, but it's just not the same as the roar 50 feet from the old house.

I'm hoping for a nice shift in the river on my property. Last couple of years the river's been moving north making it so I have to place my pump further out and use more suction line. Used to be I could place the pump right on the bank and drop my fish screen in without having to go more than a foot. Last year it was 120ft.

Personally I think the corps is having a blast with this. Everything is working just as it should. On the news they seem quite pleased with themselves and I suppose they should be. W2 used to routinely get flooded until they took control of Mill Creek by building a dam and reservoir and sent it under downtown.

Emergency management just announced Hwy 12 from Wallula Junction to Touchet is closed due to water over the road. That's just crazy. Lots of water dumping into the Columbia.
