Define "older", so I know whether I should take offense or not.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

I like playing with the kids here. I talk with the folks on TAY, Epic and T4T too. NS? I don't get them at all. But that's good because soon as I did they'd move to something else. As it should be.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Old is definitely a state of mind, not a state of body. My friend is 74 and skied 107 days this year. If you ski the Canyons you probably saw him with an all white suit, grey hair flying, just feeling it. He's a TGR junkie. I should have clarified. That makes me feel better about lurking on NS too, still young at heart.

Hi TGR Maggots, NewSchoolers, Barking Bears, and all the ships at sea! I would like to take this opportunity to formally invite all of you - young, old, and everyone in between to come join our fun-loving but responsible bunch of snowriding aficionados who know the benefits of what good moderation brings to an on-line community. I think most all of you will find that our seasoned moderators "keep the bar high" by maintaining a sense of order and decorum, while encouraging quality discussion about our favorite pastime. It may take a small amount of getting used to, as we do have reasonable standards as far as language and image posting that are strictly enforced. The registration is easy and painless, and the rules will be explained in detail during the process. I will warn you however up front that registering an ALIAS is "VERBOTEN", and something we have zero-tolerance with. If you are tired of the juvenile goings-on at TGR and Newschoolers and yearn for a snowriding forum that matches your maturity level, all I can say is: "Come join the fun"!

How and what you ski is more pertinent than your age to base what forum is best for you . There are forums geared toward the "how is the grooming and restaurant crowd", the park rats, touring, tele, gaper etc

    pretty f'n funny...

    Franny and I may join.

Epic ski was founded by my old instructor from Taos... Weems Westfield. He was a great instructor, but had triplets and needed to make some dough. He moved to Aspen and is now the director for their ski school. He's a great guy, but the site is pretty dull... the way he probably likes it after triplets.

As one of the geezers around here it's the juvenile goings-on and lack of decorum that I appreciate. I get plenty of chances to act my age in real life. Plus it's the only ski forum I've found where I learn stuff, and I don't mean whether or not to wear a helmet or pole straps. Plus TGR lets me dream, epic ski makes me cry.
