    I didn't leave Crested Butte all winter! Here's what I got: My 2011 Video TR

    Well actually that's a lie - I went to Taos for 4 days to ski all 99" they had on the season at their freeski contest. No Haines this year though. I still had fun. Every season is better than the last, and with 375" at the resort (that's a lot for us!) and 738" and counting in the surrounding backcountry, leaving was never really all that appealing. Here's what I've been up to:

    First off, I saw a lot of stomps in this vid. Second, those that weren't "stomped" looked like they were to flat landings. People on message boards can flame all they want, but if you try to truly "stomp" a flat landing directly over the center of your skis you will end up eating your knees.


    Well done Rob. Looks like it was a great season, but please don't tell me it is over for you! Keep gettin' after it, I'd like to see some more from that area. With that much snow in the backcountry you'll be able to tag lines well into June.
