Longboard Day 2011, Alpental, WA
Perhaps the best. day. ever.
N. displays unusual dedication with a matching mustache. I declare him the LBD 2011 victor.
Stretching proved important.
Z-BO get's it started right.
Greydon Clark drops a knee for the camera.
Yours truly getting rad. (Photo by SorryBro.)
Sick huck, bra.
The point.
Time to work on our jumps turns.
Mayhem unleashed.
Z-BO airs it out.
SorryBro leaves earth's safe grasp.
H. pulls a MEAN twister.
Strong effort.
Alpentalic stays low for speed.
Did someone forget to tell Mofro this isn't timed?
Thug life.
This is not ironic in any way.
It's hard being so rad.
Mofro continues to think this is a normal ski day and doesn't understand why everyone else is falling so much.
So smooth..... think about that.
The weather returns to normal.
All in a day's work.
Good times all around.
Time to start planning for LBD 2012!

Good times for sure.
Good to see Mt. Man make an appearance after his injury earlier this season.
Sea Town, where were you?
There were a host of others that were missed this year.

Long Board Day is like eight hours of tantric sex mixed with sheer terror and canned beer.
Favorite day of the year. The trumpet scatters its awful sound Over the graves of all lands Summoning all before the throne
Death and mankind shall be stunned When Nature arises To give account before the Judge

Great pics Dromond, thanks for being a good sport and setting up for all those stoopid shots. Love the twister and daffy action. Strong work on both sides of the lens. In other news . . . I think I'm going to rock that hoodie balaclava full time from now on.

Too much fun!!!
For those that couldn't make it and for those that just can't get enough retro stylie long board lovin', there are rumblings and grumblings about staging a LBD Road Show at Crystal sometime in May- if the sun comes out and we ever get something resembling "spring" this year.Move upside and let the man go through...
