    nwd 5: Disorderly Conduct review

this movie f'in kicks ass. seriously. cedric is fast. chase and lenosky kill it with their street riding. cam zinc, kyle straight, and paul b kill it with all their riding. wade has an amazing crash, digs a hole to china, and shows that he can still huck for an old guy robbie bourdon slaughters some of the most amazing wood work ever. peaty and rennie go really fast and do some nice hucking. Cowan gits 'r done. vanderham and ritchie shelley go really big with really serious style. and berrecloth is so fucking sick that i don't really know how to put it into words plus ufc winners and runners up hunter, dunne, and goss show that they are more than worthy up and comers. There are several other excellent segements, gareth wears a dress, the bonus footage is solid, and the soundtrack is like every other msp movie (love it or hate it).

I will go on a limb and say this is the best straight mtb porn ever, and gets pretty close to the collective with some of the cinematography. Plus the intro and related segement intros rule. I give it 6 out of 5 stars!

was it better than "ride the lightning"? I saw that one, and "Kranked - in Concert", and liked the Kranked vid significantly more, although I guess I can't say why, I just did. I guess 4 lacked the oomph that 3 had. So is it a big improvement?

It's wierd, seeing the Disorder flicks after seeing Matchstick's Ski movies, it's like I get MSP overload. Laid out the same, and oftentimes the same footie, which in a way just feels wrong. Like on 3 - same song as the Morrison segment on "Frontline", except now it's a kid riding a bike inside of a mouse-cage-wheel. I know that's really hard and all...but it's not near the firepower as the Morrison seg. Ah, I dunno.

I just think they need to get different songs for the soundtracks, it throws me off

Using the same songs is much cheaper, especially when you consider the travel budgets. I thought that 4 was definately solid, although it took a couple viewings. 5 blows it out of the water though. everyone steps it up hard.

Hey, White Chocolate, I don't mean to hijack but whats to be expected with "The Collective". I am super psyched to see this Vid, just went down the shop to get it, But they sold 15 copies due to Christmas , so I left empty handed!!. From what I have heard expect sweet cinematography, obviously amazing riding and artistic editing. Is this the case??

Just got NWD 5 the other day and it lives up to the hype. The movie also made me want to give a 7" SC a try. Too bad the 66 costs so much.
