    Fears, Tears and Beers 2011

    Since SkiJunky posted up about the Ashland race, figured I'd send a reminder about another excellent race that happens to be the prior weekend, June 11: Fears, Tears and Beers in Ely, Nevada.

    This is the only enduro-format race I know of in the US (they are popular in Europe, especially France), and is a kickass race. Fingers crossed for better weather this year... barring any major conflicts I will for sure be back this season.

    Bump, who's still thinking about this? Weather looks perfect, mostly sunny highs in the mid 70s. I could be persuaded if I can find someone to split gas with from SLC.

    Sadly I'm out, since I'm doing Ashland gotta pick and choose my hall passes. But you should totally go beaterdit, it's an awesome race. And just a fun mountain bike ride.
