Sorry michele I would have loved to come by with the boys, but I had to go back home to the kids and actually left the others early to race back home.

I didn't even know I could go until Thursday evening. It was a spontaneous "one week after birthday present" by my wife. On my last day of my 4 week parental leave because we had mini plague number 2. So really couldn't justify hanging out for beers.

I actually recommended the lodge to the others

And buster: yeah the little couloir next to the main one. We opened it up.

Raw fun. And don't miss the real edit from the black forest from earlier this year.

Probably the best run of the best day of the season yesterday.

Radical, it hasn’t stopped snowing in days here. Picked up a surprise 30cm last night and it’s cold to boot!

Thanks according to sources it's 30+ over night despite only 7cm in town. They skied the same couloir again....they say it's cold and skis even deeper than yesterday. Crazy... Click image for larger version.

The last week has been phenomenal. Sun and wind are doing work at the moment and the conditions are deteriorating fast, so making the avy situation more complicated. Saw quite a bit of spooky activity today.

As subtle shared, Friday was the day of the season. Cold deep pow with the sun out. What is better?

Photos from today in the VdA. More to come.

Week was pretty special, thanks again for the heads up subtle. Taking the week off was well worth it. It's been snowing here all day. Not quite enough to cover all of the damage done on fri/sat early this morning when we went for a quick ride up Stubai glacier, but it's still snowing now. So anyone lucky enough to get some laps in tomorrow should have a full reset.
