spring skiing in Kitzbühel today with my kids. Mega fun on the slushy bumps can ski all the way down to the valley. It's holding well with all considered.
There look some good stuff to have a go at here if there was snow

Base is fine above 2200m here. Just need some fresh on top. Looks like it’s coming Sunday

Bring snow? Joking aside it does look colder and wetter per the weather gurus forecasts. We will see Sunday/Monday on how low the line is.

It's not as bad as it looks. There is just no snow below 2000m and wet mank to 2500m right now.

Sunday to Wednesday should see some snow, but the Models are still not certain whether it's going to be a long term change or 60cm on dirt.Click image for larger version.

But even high up we're barely at 70% @2500m even worse ( like 30%) in the places that get snow like Engelberg.
Inner valais looks better because they are usually very dry Click image for larger version.

Read in the paper today this has been up to now the deadliest ski season in Austria. Full areas, little terrain and the icey conditions are no joke! Probably rack up a few more once the snow starts up, if it ever does🙄

East of the arlberg will stay rather meh.

Unfortunately, we just left Zermatt before the snow. I got in a day of groomers with a nice view at least. This was more of a trip for the wife anyway so I didn't mind too much. It was my first time skiing in Europe and I definitely want to go back for a real ski trip.
