Mcwatt if you wanna ski I'll be there tomorrow. Maybe with some locals. Should be one of the best days of the season.

Refill-blizzard this morning here, then the clouds cleared all afternoon. Looked like a spectacular day up top here. I was strolling in the woods with baby and dog

Yeah I'm in Ticino. Bouldering. I thought It would be 20cm....then it turned out to be 50 and I was considering to get my gear tonight, go skiing tomorrow and head back here in the evening. So I'm only partly sad

Maybe weird stoke, but I'm just working on my video editing skills, don't judge:

Oh, and I convinced the ski area here to let me make videos for them. I'm now a jibfluencer:

Calm and collected Peter. That goes a long way to coming home safely to wife and kid. Glad you are ok and not in pieces

Once again, many thanks for the kind words everyone, I'm truly grateful for all of your thoughts. I'm not having too much luck with my objectives at the moment, trying to squeeze them into the only days I have available has given me, on paper, 5 out of 6 "failures" in the last three weeks. But each day that I've come home intact has been a real blessing, so really I'm 6 for 6.

    The world keeps turning!

I can report back from a great day yesterday: we skied the round trip Lenzerheide -> Arosa -> Tscheirtschen -> Lenzerheide. This has been on my list for a while.

The weather was very foggy but some openings between the clouds allowed for good turns in good snow - a lot of it untracked. No other people around wich I guess is pretty rare for this famous outing. I just loved it!

We paid the price when trying to ski down to Churwalden and the snow was so nasty (worst heavy crust I ever encountered) that we had to resort to a groomed hiking trail. While getting back to the car via the groomers of Lenzerheide we got above the clouds just before our last run. Thats when the picture was taken.

Is this upclimbing or downclimbing? Either way, right up my alley.

I had a nice mellow day sunbathing above Montenvers, touring up to the Fretes des Charmoz and skiing the Signal couloir.

Up at 2400 north it was perfect, at 1900 you were making contact with the base but still good, at 1800... less good. Same again tomorrow!

anyone heading down towards Italy? I might check out the peimont for the first time this storm. It's just going to be too cold in the north. And no Powder for that matter.
