Still would love to meet any locals if they're in the area when we're there, at least for drinks.

And of course, thanks Buster, as always - you do realize you're gonna be the go-to ad hoc guide in Klosters/ Davos/ Lenzerheide as well
This is now 10yrs old but may still give you some ideas - we also used a mixture of guide and Thurner book

I hope to ply bw_wp_hedonism with enough alcohol to channel his inner Davos schmarts and be a worthy vessel.

Ladies and gentlemen fasten your seat belts we are officially on track for a nice week from Wednesday on... Cool(ish) and snow for more than 48h. Even mid term looks OK. (5-7 day +)

me =excited. I may come out west for this on Wednesday/Tuesday evening depending on how the forecast looks Tuesday morning.

You’re a Brit right so I’m sure your native skiing talents would have made it a walk in the park! Nathan did it in hire gear and carried his skis up on his shoulder 💪

Errr, AKA Lady Bec apparently - where the FWT women often start from. (I think 'losers bowl' might have been a joke name within our little ski posse)

So you go up the ridge from Col de la Chaux as normal (the little lump, where the Junior FWT usually is being 'Baby Bec') but don't go to the top. I'm not quite sure where you start but you traverse a bit and drop into the top of Dog Leg Couloir. I've been up to the top but we went off the back so I've only looked at it but it misses out the bits at the top where mere-mortals like me would be side slipping and picking their way down.

(I'm not good with names of places, I tend to call things, "That one where steve had the hilarious crash" so please correct me if I'm wrong)

Flying into Zürich on thurs afternoon. Trying to decide on where to go, had planned for Andermatt, but not sure if they will be in the sweetspot for the upcoming storm. Any suggestions on where to go and be able to ski and see the terrain you are skiing?

Was fun today. 30+ and lifts had shut down for a while and opened later. Most fun 2h I had in a while. They closed again at 3pm.

This morning though I couldn't be bothered. Was rather meh with 5cm on the parking.
Around 11 the snowpocalypse started and turned things around. Fortunately they also shut down the lifts for a while to allow some accumulation for me.

Hmm the parking lot looks much more interesting now. I hope we can leave on Friday when it clears.
