Wow! That is beautiful! I've always thought that the only ski destination in Germany are die Bayerischen Alpen. Der Schwarzwald looks awesome though.

Today wasn't bad either....now I'm Worked and leave the scraps for the desperate tomorrow. Ticino, according to my whatsapp, was also pretty good.
No new snow in the forecast, but I should start to correct the class tests this week anyway... Click image for larger version.

hey subtle! Alarm was spot on in bosco gurin today - 30cm of fresh, first turns delivered first face shots (21 gonna be great!) almost now crowds delivered some mellow nice rides. Got really deep (waist) in some grooves!
SLF avalanche report seemed appropriate, too.

    Happy new year everyone!

Saw some footage of a Giant Snowblower trying to dig out from some serious dumpage somewhere in Italy.

Thanks, planned an hour of filming, got under 10 min total - lots of Fu(ups by me. Drone hates cold, moisture in the phone charging socket causes issues. Realy bad interference and possibly drone/phone blockers in some places. Also freezing my hands. Will get better with time.

Conditions the last week's have been terrible, haven't seemed to find anything but highly variable punchy snow. Line was nice however...

Went on a nice ski tour in Davos Klosters area yesterday. Was really nice. And it looks like the forecasts are starting to line up for a big snow event next week?

bit late report but saturday the south (bedretto) was still super good. Everything north facing still really fluffy fast powder, not as wind affected as we thought from the SLF reports.

New alarm from subtle is up, this time for the north! Let's see what it brings and where to go on the weekend.

Ya man, looking good! Snowing pretty hard now here too. Yesterday was my first true pow day of the year and it happened in a funny spot I’d been scouting for Corona times

Heavy slop today in lower elevation trees. Hopefully things stabilize and we can get into the alpine soon. Stay safe everyone!

Also totally in for a meet-up at Vendul's (corona depending) ! In the mean time if anyone wants to ski in Vaud/Valais give me a holler.

Things are ultra spicy right now. Take care. I'm kinda happy I can only go to the black forest this weekend.

The home mountain was a crazy place today.. 70 and up to a meter in lee areas. Windy, cold and got started with a intense rain event round three AM. Goods where found between getting stuck up to your waist. Finished the day with pushing stuck cars and shoveling snow for 4 hours..
    Wild day
