conditions are still good. some friends did enfetchote yesterday - it's a pretty quick tour off the top of the first drag lift, they said the final descent was waist deep in places, and great snow.

i think it'll be busy at the weekend with it being first the derby and then easter. i'm hopefully doing some touring tomorrow, and then i have a friend coming to stay so it'll just be very chilled stuff for me after that.

it has been supersonic up to 4-5 days ago. Now I really doubt there's anything left good... unless you go over 3500

Skied Paradiski yesterday (Wednesday). 20-30cm above 2500m depending on aspect.

Coverage on north facing slopes good down to 1800meters, 2000meters for other aspects.

Stay at altitude and this weekend conditions should be great.

Sorry to hear man, hope it ain't that bad.

On the bright side, Cham is pretty popular with peeps skiing... So I'd guess that a lot of docs / orthos have a pretty good grip on knees.

Though, I'd still pester Idris and see if he knows some good docs.

I'm not sure how bad it is... but it's not Cham skiing good right now. At least the Brit invasion has made for good drinking

Thursday, April 5th: just back from hiking to & above le col du Gd-St-Bernard.

    What i found out:
    - Plenty of snow 4 touring. Good coverage starts ~ Super St. Bernard/Tunnel.

    - Super St. Bernard closes on Monday end-of-biz.

Tracks look a bit exposed, but very impressive regardless. Despite the dearth of snow, I am very impressed by the quantity and quality of shots from this season ...

Serfaus was surprisingly good. On top of that chute I had a bit of an akward position to strap on and I managed to dislocate my arm from elbow by twisting it while tightening my bindings a bit tighter than usual I pulled it back to it´s place and hit the chute. I actually felt quite hardcore for a short moment. Old injury, but has never popped out like that.

Well, anyways, I have to give klar respect on telemarking her way down after I took most of the snow down with me.

Here´s klar hitting the first one of the day

    and the second one

The arm is reasonably good already, although it was quite stiff and powerless yesterday. I went skiing for a few laps, I could hold a pole in my hand, but couldnīt polemark. Today itīs been ok, goes almost straight again. Iīll take the snowboard out tomorrow and go search for soft snow, there should be a stash at kuhtai, where the sun doesnīt shine.

The part I enjoyed at serfaus, was going up with the lift after the steeper line and seeing the fat rich german tourists waving poles towards our lines and wondering who rode them
