Monday spent in Alpe dHuez. Good fresh tracks firstly in resort down Sarenne; then afternoon off the back of Pic Blanc down to small village think it was Clavans fresh tracks ,ost of th way; few rock hits but not too bad. Mostly soft week old powder; very occasional sun crust: excellent:

Today tuesday 2 alpes: to St Cristophe: guide said he had rarely seen it in such good condition for this time of year.

So if you read in conjunction with my LG report - its mixed but if you stay off the beaten track and know where to go theres good stuff to be had: latest forecast is for change in the weather on Sunday:

on another note: anyone going to schladming on the 24th to watch the slalom? it's looking like we're going to catch the Mario Matt fan club bus from flirsch for the night.

Powslut - will PM and text you (this time for sure).

Schladming is going to be a blast - let's hope the lonely brain cell from the Pitztal (Benni Raich) can put an end to the Giorgio Rocca domination.

    Sad but true.

On the other hand, there are ridiculous amounts of snow all over Eastern Austria as I can attest after the train trip last night from Graz to Zürich.

monte rosa is at the moment the very worst spot on the alps for skiing. They never were decently nuked, and the few skiable spots are raw ice. take care.

I'm thinking we could put together a euro-multi-maggot-mini-cham-summit-stokage for all those who couldn't get time off for Gordys camp the following week. I'll bring the helmet cam to record the event.

I'll be arriving in Geneva on 27th and catching a shuttle up to Cham. Need to find a place to crash Friday night before Gordy's camp starts on Saturday. In for skiing 28th as I think the camp skiing starts on 29th.

Anyone have floor space for one night?

It's a possibility as long as you're not an axe weilding psycho . Me and my bud should have a sofa free. PM me.

It's debatable which one is worse.

Shirk- If you're bringing Roo's skis then I'm glad to do you a favour in return (though we would have offered you to stay anyway!)
