Pretty lame that, as a photographer, she has not managed to post any stoke photos....probably just does gaper portraits... or no stoke on Nendaz meadow skipping runs...

My Atomic Elysians delammed - still skiable, but do not want to deal with on our trip to Chamonix Friday. Does anyone know if the rental shop in the Hotel Le Prieuré is decent, or have a recommendation in that area. Hotel is located on Allée Recteur Payot, near Route de la Roumnaz. Thanks for any info

There are many ski rental locations. It depends on what you want.

    Sanglard - quality
Inter sport opposite the aiguille de midi - dps and other nice skis
    Snell sports - backcountry skis

Hey all, is anyone based out of Barcelona, or doing any trips to the Pyrenees this winter? I'm a squaw skier over here studying. I'll be skiing all winter and would love to find some shredders to ski with. I'm also looking for a group to meet up with and ski in the alps, so if your tripping there, shoot me a message. Cheers!

    Hello everyone,
If anyone enjoyed Jumpturn's awesome pictures of the Cosmique Couloir last Monday, here is what happened about forty minutes after that. I actually bumped into JT lower down on the descent, battling through the woods on the way back to town, with his entourage. Last Monday was a pretty good day in Chamonix, despite the delays at the lift.

True that, both routes on the north west face were teeming. My girlfriend's car was stuck in the parking lot behind the Aiguille du Midi, and by chance she was blocking Andreas Fransson's car in, so he helped to dig it out and drive it to safety using his awesome Scandi Snow Driving Skills. He said that he'd done a west couloir from the Rond, and that it was "pretty good". I had spotted a pair of tracks coming out of it on the way down from the Cosmiques and wondered who had made them! A bloody good day up there, to be sure.

This is what the world looked like yesterday...

The West Couloir sounds good, but don't get avalanched at the top.

Should be a good base by the time I back in April... and the pow sharks will be tired of too much powder...

But will there be enough snow in April in Tirol, that is the question?

Pics look nice. A bit surprised about the amount of wind. The very un-IBK kr3w, non-extreme terrain suggests stability was not so great?
