It's almost as hot as in summer here around Vienna (arount 25 degree Celsius today in the city ).
Nevertheless, the freeze cycle during the clear nights still works wonder and makes again for some nice 'suburban' spring skiing ...

Nice to see that the Innsbruck people have a good time in Switzerland ...
Here in the Austrian lowlands the corn season continues. Pretty good conditions given the low elevation (900-1700m) and the summer-like temperatures.

The rest of the Klammer family was up on Dachstein on Saturday and Sunday -- apparently it was fabulous.

Blondin,
Great hearing from you. No shots from Verbier since my camera is broken but mainly spent the season here

Hope San Diego is treating you well and we get a chance sharing turns again some day. Give me a holler when you get back here and bring the triple sixer along.http://www.facebook.com/pages/www3li...ref=ts&fref=ts 3Limits Slovakia

We are in Gressoney La Trinite and it is snowing at least 2 cm an hour. Sounds like it's already knee-deep with no visibility whatsoever. We're letting it accumulate a bit and going up for a half-day, then headed for a full powder day tomorrow (Friday). Look for a couple of yanks on Mantras with dynafit bindings (could only bring one pair of skis to the euro-zone, so had to compromise).
Change for a nickel!

Remarkable powder day up at Monte Rosa today. A shout out to all the really friendly freeriders from Alagna- open with good beta and just generally welcoming. thanks!
Just a sampling of the goods from today...[IMG][/IMG]
The long spooky traverse back to the Alagna lifts after skiing the Balma- just to the north and near the old cable car. Great run!
Doing what we do so well...

Uff, I'm in the process of forgetting what powder is about ...
Example of some of the snow conditions we are experiencing here (Eastern Alps) now:
