I just bumped another thread on Volcano skiing for you
A few years ago one of my friends made a short ski film called 'cano-bagging'.
It used to be available online - but I cant find it right now...

Haha Francesco loves his €99 skis... you're not about to miss your flight are you?
Doug, got your msg but you suck so I haven't replied. Fuck you. Not really. Looking forward to seeing you. No I don't want to borrow your camper, maybe? Might be talked in to getting you from somewhere. You do know that the whole reason you're going the HR is because of me, & now you're inviting ME to join YOU. Haha. See you later...

Finally, it's time for spring skiing (at least here in Vienna).
Acceptable corn and some mashed potatos in between ...
Today's temperature max in Vienna: 22 degree C

Instant spring in Rila and Pirin, it started with rain all the way up to 3000 meters last Sunday, then we had a week of + degrees.. and a 1,5 m of snow is gone, plus all the unstable snow from the huge dumps 2 weeks ago fell off... The result.. well things right now look like they should look in late April..
Some shots from Bansko and the area around Todorka and Vihren peaks, from yesterday:
Vihren:
( we wanted to climb up and ski the E face of Vihren today, but .. quickly changed plans after seeing all the avalanches..)

^^^^^^ The terrain down there seems to have potential, would like to check it out one day.
Looks like the western Alps will get shat on one more time later this week, considering going down to Verbier Wednesday for some turns before switching to touring mode.http://www.facebook.com/pages/www3li...ref=ts&fref=ts 3Limits Slovakia

etna has some 250 craters, right now some 10-15 are active and spittin smoke and black sand which makes the snow so dark. Also, there is a big crack on the NE side which is currently releasing a river of hot lava... just sent pics to telepath for a full TR on coreshot, stay tuned

[QUOTE=Scottish_Skier;
Switzerland, the only country in the world where its illegal to flush your toilet after 10pm at night [img][QUOTE]
I read that somewhere before I came here, but it said it was impolite not illegal...
I guess I'm a rebel... I flush mine when ever I want (or have to)...
Dammm that makes me just another ulgy American tourist…. And I thought I was unique and different.

So how's Verbier right now?
Consider ditching work and heading down tomorrow for 3 days but the 14°C in town this afternoon make me think it over again.
Anyone out there right now to share turns with?http://www.facebook.com/pages/www3li...ref=ts&fref=ts 3Limits Slovakia

I'll be in Davos / Klosters starting Friday - Tuesday. Anybody else heading that way, that would like to meet up? Post or send me a PM.
Thanks,

The touring in Verbier is superb just now. The weather forecast is showing some rain, rumours of snow!? Get in touch if you are this way. I should be touring / skiing tomorrow, Friday & Saturday. Hoping to hook up with Klar...
