I was in Zermatt for four days this week. It snowed high up on Wednesday. Then it started snowing again on Friday, this time seriously and also down in the valley.
The beatings will continue until morale will improve.

Still coming down in Andermatt. Radar looks solid for the night.
Anyone in the area up for a quick tour tomorrow? Need to drive to GVA in the afternoon, but will get something in before leaving.

been to grasgehren today ... shitty little resort with very limited terrain, one lift was open. its always the first resort in the allgäu to open.
well, it was great, very stormy, a lot of snow, maybe a meter of very good and fluffy cocaine alltogether and still snowing. great start! This is how you talk when you learn English from pornos.

Gleiming, 80Km south of Saltzburg. They should build a lift there, if they
don't have it already!

Snow for France?
I know its meant to be dumping in Austria, but how are the french resorts doing, specifically Tignes.
Does anyone have detailed weather forecast for this resort for the next few days?

ok guys, i was about to pm you Matt anywas, i am DEFINITELY going to go after it...how are we gear wise, i can lend skis but only have one pair of skins and one spare pair of trekkers...we could either go local (Klinovec in Krusne Hory around 60cm and counting, or something in Giant Mountains) or go south to Austria...Klinovec is 1,5 hour from Prague...closest austrian resort 5 hours...Giant Mountains 2 hours...let me know! cant wait!

2czech: I have just dropped my skis for mounting with Naxos. Barring unforeseen problems, they should be ready for the weekend.
Trouble is carrying them for the weekend... alternatively, I could bring the skins, but no trekkers.
I'll need to take a decision soon on this, as someone else is paying for my flight to Prague and I will have to tell them if I'm returning Sat or Sunday.
If you decide to go to Austria, it might be just a little too far for me, as I need to be in London on Sunday night rather than Monday morning. PM me and we can e-mail each other.
Ulty guy: as far as I can make it out, Lech is opening on Dec 1. Flights to Friedrichshafen are 45 quid that weekend (Fri night to Sun night)...interestedYou really need to stop knowing WTF you're talking about. (Tippster)
