The fun stuff appears to start above their starting zones.

Yesterday on the Aiguille du Midi. Deep fresh everywhere.

BUT the day before 2 dead on the Midi and yesterday 4 dead elsewhere (source PGHM).

1st was a young freerider dropping into the Couloir Cosmique and setting of a huge slab avalance
2nd was a older guide soloing the Cosmiques arete and on easy ground, the same slab layer avalanching him into the Vallee Blanche side.

There has been summit to valley natural slides in the Argentiere basin yesterday!

This has me wondering? Midi closed for like forever.... it opens. Avi danger 3, loads of fresh, there have been wintery and not spring conditions for weeks and people drop in on the cosmique?

    Basically retarded.

Today in Engelberg. Without me of course because I have a total Nonsense day organizing things which don't help me to have to family trip anyway because of those fucking corona rules and loads of closed holiday offices.

Yep, here it is, a lil bit rusty and a lil dusty
nice to see you good old friend

the week before loosing it i had the shop remount the binders for the new bsl and they adjusted them to my weight too : )
i was simply to lazy to screw em back up.

luckily nothing happened. the three hours of search that day and the 3000feet vert on one ski just helped me to become a better human being. i guess.

    peace and love

    enjoy the summer

Last day on snow this season for us yesterday. Leg felt fine, but snow was sooo sticky in early afternoon. Fun slush down low. Still good coverage up high, seeing it was snowing small but constant amounts all thru may. Probably packing winter gear away until ... 5 months time?
