Someones been trying to convince me its well worth it and theres enough for a season between all of them. I'm feeling without local knowledge, bouncing from resort to resort would take time to get to know the craic though.

Question is where to be based. Almost everything is an hour drive from anything else. It's great for a local living in lausanne where you drive each time anyways, for a seasonaire not so much.

Yep that's probably my only pick to spend a season. You got 4 big resorts together and its high. But really far from anything else.

i wouldnt be doing a full season, 6 weeks over the course of the winter. xmas week, new year week, feb half term and easter 2 week, then a week in march with the mrs.
My drama is i need to put my girls 6 and 4 y/o in ski school/lunch club, so wife and i can ski, we need to be in resort and stay in the resort. Would Zinal/Grim be enough to keep us interested for 2 weeks solid?

So Corona or not, with the temps the way they are, and the snowpack the way it is, it was all but done anyway ski seasonwise below 2000 meters here.

Fritschi Xenics - 2nd time this has happened. I think the heel piece twists too easily. Usually take proper skis/bindings up there but it was a 7 hr hike from town so went with the light gear - never again!

No one else up there. Hooked up with Anna, a Kiwi girl from Faction and Rob, a British instructor to make the bootpack to the top. I guess Hedwig Wessel went up yesterday? The snow at the top was superb and stable - never seen it so deep.

In nyc area. Co worker woke up this AM with a 102 fever and feeling like shite. He slept until 3pm. My team is freaked out and we urged him to sort out getting a test. He then called, waited an hour, gave his details and they will call him back to schedule or not. 27 year old guy. Healthy as hell. Scary as hell too.

I was in France until last Wednesday skiing the final week of the winter. Saw what was evolving there and in the US and it just didnt seem to be going well. Plus we were skiing the last cold snow before it got warm and everything pointed to i was time to call it. Called United Tuesday night...changed flight to wednesday am with all fees waived. Flew home on a quiet flight on wednesday am from Geneva with zero questions upon landing. Went home and then we just decided to be smart and stay home to not put anyone at risk from our trip. Then Wednesday evening, Trump put the ban in place. Pretty much just lucky to get back when we did but now shit here is getting serious. Cases are jumping 1000 a day right now and we are hunkering down. Shelter in place status. Curfew 8pm-5am. Bon courage!

I think ive got it, can't be 100% sure as they're not testing the general public in the UK though.
