P-Dawg and fam headed to STT in April for a week (based in Cowpet Bay near Red Hook)...never been....We were a day away last August when "Ernesto" blew thru...so ended up in the FL keys...definitely a day trip or two over to St John
I doubt that you can find any place cheaper than this on St John's.

I stayed there about 16 years ago when it was called Maho Bay campground. It is breathtaking. Stayed in a 125sf bungalow of sorts without plumbing or electricity built on a raised wooden boardwalk about a 5 minute walk from the beach. What a magical place.
It looks like the new place has a variety of dirtbag accommodations. .

Owner used to be a dental hygienist.

Is that good or bad?
Obviously good. I think.
Scored a sweet place a few blocks away from Cruz bay with an amazing view for the first 10 days of March. Just rented a 2 Dr jeep for the time too. Excited to check this place out!
ETA- also emailed a fishing charter for a half day out, if anyone has any recs on that..
This is the way. Completely rebuilt after Irma and is fantastic. I am not much of a camper and even I love it. Cooked food available on site.
You can hit the Cinnamon Bay beach as a day tripper. Like all St J beaches, the lot is small. Cinnamon Bay is unique in that you can stay on the beach affordably. The rainforest cafe is worth eating at even if not staying there. Locals frequent it.
Uno mas
Can you share the name of the place? We’re looking for a spring break destination in April.
