RIP - Maddaroo

sometimes under the moniker "renoenvy"...
the inspiration for who I am today, maddaroo was put down this afternoon following a series of seizures due to a brain tumor...

Think well knowing you gave her probably the best 14 years any dog could have!

Around for such a short time, but they always leave a lasting impression on our lives. Looked like you gave her a full life. That's the best one can ask for. Peace.

For all that you gave her you I'm sure she gave you more back. That is how it is with a great dog. It looks like she lived a life of adventure and a full one at that. Condolences

thank you for the comments...
she finished as strong as she lived. I was able to spend a lot of time with her this week and it was a good week of dog parkin', beach bumming, and the night before she turned we had my annual chili cook off so she was able to see everyone she loved

Beautiful dog (and photos). Sorry for your loss.
I ski because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things.

I have to break my posting cherry for this one. Choked me up a bit, as my dog also changed my life and introduced me to a beautiful life outdoors. No matter what, Maddaroo will always be running/sliding by your side...

Another silent lurker is forced to come out of the woodwork to offer condolences. Great dog. I'm so sorry for your loss. I think sometimes about death, and who will be there to greet me when I arrive in the great mountain in the sky - and I always believe there will be a shitload of dogs and cats. Maddaroo will be there for you, ready to go.

She has such a nice golden California tan...
Strong vibes, I am taking my dog to work today so we can play after.
Did she have a bit of Elkhound/Shepherd in her?

Reading this makes me appreciate time spent with my boys who are now all grey in the face....
Feeling anxious, a little paranoid.

Thoughts and vibes go out to you having been through the process with several of my "best buddies" before. Looks like you let Maddaroo get out there and live a real dog's life outside though so she had a great life!
