Leki Speed Lock doesn't move. Ideas?
I just won a pair of Leki poles with the speed lock system in a raffle. I got them home, and found that I can't get one of them to expand. It'll move about one cm, then just stops.
Has anyone seen this before, or have any ideas on how to fix it before sending it in for warranty repair/replacement?"I just looked down to see if I was wearing my seatbelt, and I'm sitting at my desk in my room."

Sell them on Craigslist and buy some Black Diamond Flicklocks.

I had a pair with similar issues also. I'm assuming you are unable to disengage the yellow piece that goes into the pole? I had to just hold down the "buttons" on either side and jiggle it a bit to get it free. Rinse, lather, repeat.
Overall I though it was a great idea but poorly engineered. I skied probably about 5 days and sold them. I have big hands and the part that your thumb goes though was always too tight and my hands hurt afterwards.
