It looks like pins are mounted forward of POB, but unless he has small feet, not sure boot center and ski center line up either.

She got new T2s in the mail today. She’s pretty stoked.

What’s y’all’s impressions of the intuition liners that come with the tx comp?

Mine seem to be packing out after ~40 days, all resort days, about 30 bell to bell. I’m starting to not be too impressed compared to the aftermarket intuitions (and raichle thermoflex liners) that I’ve owned. No built in l-pads and unimpressed with the tongues.

Same. I just cooked mine for the second time as they were getting a little bit sloppy and shin bang is in affect. Might need to get some new ones.

I bought shells from Freeheel Life and liners from a Maestrale RS, so not sure about the Tx Pro/Comp liners exactly. But the Scarpa/Intuition liners got pretty sloppy after about one season. ZipFit GFTs are working really well so far though, much better heel hold than I ever had with the Scarpa liners.

I don't even bother using the stock TX comp liners - give 'em away to the needy.
    But I like a firm/hard liner.
If were still seriously hiking for turns, they might be ok for a season, but .......

I have honestly never used them. I have a pair of intuition luxury liners that i have dialed. Sold my first pair right away and have a 2nd pair sitting in the ski room. Seem targeted more for comfort in the short term vs performance in the long term.

What have you guys replaced the Comp liners with? I tried some HV powerwrap liners 28 for 27.5 boots to take up some volume/slop...but I couldn't close the shell.

I’m thinking a wrap liner for myself.

I have the Pro, not Comp, and replaced the liner with the "Alpine" liner, works well.

Was that after a good heating for the power wrap, so it was nice and squishy? If so, you might need to drop down to a 27.

I've been using the RX/HD race liners and love them, but I'm all groomers all the time.

Anyone have experience with swapping back and forth between 22 Designs Axl and Outlaw or Lynx using inserts? I know the Axls need to be about 1cm further back than the NTN, but do you notice much of a difference?

8mm which 22D claims you will not notice in their FAQs. I’ve skied outlaw xs and AXLs off the same shift plate and did not notice a difference. Only 1 day on the Outlaws though so was more preoccupied with getting those dialed than paying any attention to whether mount point was influencing my experience. I will say, in general, I wouldn’t sweat a <1cm variance. Wouldn’t say the same for 1.5cm. YMMV.

I don’t know his name but huge props to the tele skier who just shredded his comp run at the Wrangle the Chute FWQ 4*
