Adding a quiver to the stoke. Just got a pair of mint unopened Superloops… searching for some Merrell Maxx/Super Comps for a glade skiing setup. Anyone is around Truckee and want to get some laps hit me up!

Thats what I use them for. V6 BC with 3 pin cable. The recommended mount point on the 183cm seems to be too far forward which has come up in some other threads here. Worth some attention if you get that size.

Remember the welded toe-bar? Before they started using rivets?

My dad has tts Vector BC which is an incredible rolling terrain cruiser. Would love to see more modern midfat scaled skis.

Dang, hope you get some snow. I worked there one summer. Used to make weekly trips to Arrington to stock up on Thai Siam take out.

Nope, but that ski w/ a 3 pin binding was my original intention. I wanted the white military vectors, but those and the regular vector bc were out of stock in the length I wanted so I just went with V6's.

Man I was so stoked when the first super loops came out. Sure I destroyed them but it launched a fun engineering dialog / friendship with Russell and beta testing the protos in the ensuing years. Later models were pretty bomber if you didn’t move the pivots all the way back.

Reminds me, I have a big box of super loops and various spare parts if any tahoe peeps want a free binding for a waxless bc ski…

Thanks for the feedback on the Woodsman, and sweet boards! I have the Wren 108 with Outlaws but found them too directional. May put alpine bindings on them and let my son have them as he is a charger. I was debating getting Woodsman 102 as a DD (Big Sky) but hadn't heard tele specific feedback so I ordered the DW 104. Still have Steeples and BGs in the ON3P stable though.

Ha, it was a pretty rough opener... passing showers and 50* temps. Thankfully, their snowmaking is pretty good. Off to Crested Butte this week and having a crisis about which sticks to bring.
